BONES ON BONES

It's that time of the year again when it's slightly more acceptable to eat too much candy and aptly lessen the judgment on your outfit (+ makeup, in my case). To compliment this look i've teased my hair to a lion's mane level and am holding a candle (it's not cheese). This isn't a 'costume' per-se, rather a halloween inspired outfit. For my costume at school i was Wednesday Addams (make sure you follow my instagram @zosuen for pictures) So, what did you dress as?

CHASE US AROUND.

I literally live in my beanie and flannel shirt in the fall time (no...seriously). It's been a pseudo-blogger-fantasy for me to shoot an outfit with a glass coke bottle-so no, this post is not an ad for coca cola- but nothing beats climbing onto a construction vehicle when no one was watching to snap a few shots (i take pleasure that it's one of the more bad-ass things i've done).

TAIPEI PHOTO + VIDEO DIARY

Taipei has been and always will be one of my family's favorite travel destinations. We visit so often, it's pretty much our second home and we have no trouble getting around, having built up a good list of our favorite eats/shops over the years. Not only is Taipei home to my favorite comfort foods, it's also where we have met some of the nicest people (even the taxi drivers are total sweethearts). Taipei i love you!

CHAPEL SONG

Shooting in stripes and plaid is just that much more fun when you get to submerge yourself in plants and lean/sit on everything within a 10 meter proximity. A lot of you guys ask me about shooting in public and whether it irks me when people stare wile i shoot. Staring passerbys does have that certain element of awkwardness when you're trying to be, well, less awkward in front of the lens. We were lucky the day we shot these photos in Happy Valley because it was relatively early (excluding the attention of creepy bus drivers and co.) but there are always going to be people who are curious to what sort of shenanigans you're up to. I mean, if you were the passerby you'd probably stare too :)

I'm hopping on a plane tomorrow to come back to hong kong, but before then we're having a big dinner and hopefully doing a bit of last minute shopping. have a great night guys!

TOUCHDOWN

Hey guys! We arrived in Taipei in the afternoon and have had a nice dinner at a favorite restaurant of ours + a quick trip to the night market. I'll be posting outfits from the shoot with Natalie whilst i'm here so stay tuned and remember to follow me on instagram (@zosuen) for updates!

LOVER OF THE LIGHT

I'm so used to having straight hair, having just a bit more curl at the front provokes a strange tunnel-esque whirl of hair that's constantly within my field of vision. We were so lucky during our shoot for the absurd abundance of sunlight that makes everything look better because it's at the perfect angle (Bryant and I call it 'LA light'). I know i keep saying 'fall's coming' in every single post, but it seriously is now and i'm going to miss wearing these tanks with ridiculously huge arm holes (hey, upper-body ventilation...thumbs up).
