I missed shooting on the roof despite the heat and continuous running to and from the tripod (I miss you, Carol!). These high tops are the epitome of foot heaven so i literally wear them everyday now, and the top reminded me of a union jack which is fitting for the olympics. Hong Kong is (obviously) heating up after a week of constant wind, rain and just feeling 'damp', so i can't wait to wear summery stuff (things I ignored when i went to oxford). By the way, i'm heading to Phuket on the 14th for a short vacation with my family, excited!

1. skull decor- saw some amazing coin banks at urban in London but had no idea how i would get one back to hong kong without sacrificing serious luggage space/risking breakage. 

2. pastel hair- Looks so amazing on some people but I don't have the right hair color/face for it in my opinion, so i guess i can just be jelly of the lucky ducks who can manage to pull it off. (photo 1, 2, 3)

3. strappy block heels- It's probably a bad thing that i'm liking the sockxshoe thing, but it looks so nice in pictures that i might just risk looking like a third grader. And i am seriously lusting after those JC Sabines.....ahhh. 

4. Dog gifs- no explanation needed.

TINY DANCER

I'm miss this park so much, mostly due to the greenery and frequent squirrel sightings.  I got the sunglasses and top from Urban on sale in London on Saturday, and the shorts make me want to go on a sunny vacation so bad. The weather in Hong Kong is horrible at the moment, especially after the typhoon. Everything is dark and wet, but i hope it clears up soon so i can shoot!

OH YEAH YOUR SKIN AND BONES

Here are some photos Carol snapped of me when we were following the orange lamp posts through the artsy district to the Tate Modern (the only reason we didn't get lost...again) in London. I'm such a sucker for cool walls, regardless of the awkward glances from passerbys (an even more notable feat when performed in Hong Kong). My feet were dying after hours of walking in 2 inch boots (i know, i'm weak) so i changed into some new flats that i just about justified buying.
I just got back from the UK yesterday after a surprisingly short flight, and i still have outfits to post from there, so stay tuned! Hope you guys are having a nice day!

RED BRICKS AND HEARTS

My favorite part of this outfit is the pin on my leather jacket that cost me a pound from the cinema. I guess i'm just attracted to anything star wars/x-men related, and when it's gold and heart shaped that's a bonus. And I've been wearing this jacket every day now, it's not going to be pretty when i have to give it back to my dad whom i steal borrow everything from. I guess this whole outfit is just everything i like in a melting pot, but hey, who's complaining?

LONDON CALLING

On Saturday, Carol and I hopped on a train for London. We ended up getting around to so many more places than expected. National Gallery? check. London eye from the south bank? check. Big Ben and Westminster Abbey? check. Crazily shopping and gulfing down burritos on Oxford street, attempting to understand modern art at the Tate, and seeing the Globe Theatre from the North bank; check, check and check! I'm so impressed by how much we did in only 8 hours, though I wish we had more time to explore and enjoy ourselves. London, I'll be back!

P.P.S. this was a queued post, but carol and i have just arranged a spontaneous day trip to london for friday! so i'm going back sooner than expected, and i can't wait.
