a few photos from this morning. Sorry i've been behind on updates lately, my wifi is messed up and i haven't been able to access lookbook for a week or so, which sucks (is this happening with you guys as well?). Anyway, today we had some great food and did a lot of shopping around orchard road (thanks for the recs!). It was really hot but overall a great day. Tomorrow we're going to the zoo, universal studios and maybe a bit more shopping around Haji Lane. So excited!

For this outfit, i was inspired by lovely Analisa of Rougefox. I love how she wears her big sunglasses and irregular skirts, so check her blog out, it's amazing! It was super windy when my sister took these photos for me, but i'm really loving how the lipgloss (thank you Cassie!) looks with the florals. And you guys know i'm in love with this blue (I have to stop soon). Oh, and i know i said the last outfit would be my final non-spring/pastely post, but hey, it rained today so i guess it fits!

HAIR QUESTIONS+GIVEAWAY WINNER//

Recently i've been getting questions about my hair. Just to answer a few, i don't straighten or dye my hair, and it's a pretty thick texture. A product i've been using to tame it (though people on Youtube have been raving about this for the longest time) is Moroccan oil. I just take a drop of it and distribute it to the ends of my hair, and it totally changed the texture, making my hair a lot smoother. I totally recommend it!

This is one of those 'experiment outfits' where i post something i would normally never wear. This is just too much black in general, something that i would find too 'intense' for daily wear. But since it's spring(ish), i figured it's my last chance to wear anything relatively dark and decided to do an outfit post on it anyway. This is officially my 'good bye' post to all of the dark items in my closet (or at least the prospect of wearing them together). You guys are probably wondering why i would post something i wouldn't actually wear...well, why not? So there...that's my explanation.

I've been a bit lost lately with the weather changes here. should i wear pastels? brights? As stupid as it seems, it seemed like nothing i had in mind quite 'worked'. That is, until i came across some pictures i found of dreamy lighting and colors. I've seen my share of pastels and sheers, but i think it's about time i tried wearing them into the summer. 

Sorry i haven't posted an outfit in a while, it's raining right now and my dad has taken the camera for work. I'll post one ASAP, an meanwhile, what are you planning on wearing this spring/summer season?

As i mentioned a few posts back, i'm obsessed with bright blue at the moment, despite spring being the time for pastels. The dress is a little short so i decided to wear my tights underneath since the weather in Hong Kong is still a little bipolar at the moment. It is getting warmer, so i'll have to store my tights away and wear socks more often, which i don't mind and in fact am also obsessed with.

I just got the great news that my mom has booked a cheap flight to Singapore at the end of the month since we have a few days off school. If any of you guys are from Singapore, be sure to leave me a message telling me good places for eating and shopping! it would be much appreciated ( :

VIDEO: how we started the blog, featuring Claudia!

A lot of people asked me about how this blog started, so i decided to make a video with Claudia about how we started it! Making this video made me realize how much this blog has changed my style and even my personality (i find myself a lot less shy than before, especially in front of cameras) and i just want to thank you all for playing a huge part in that. Love you all! I know the quality isn't that great and you can see the room getting darker and darker, but i enjoyed filming it with Claudia and i hope you guys enjoy watching it!
