this was requested a lot, so i decided to do a tutorial on it. this was my first time attempting it (on both hands anyway) so forgive the crappy job on the eyelashes especially. Also, i do not take credit for this nail design in anyway, and it was inspired by Vanessa of Animalist.

MIX IT UP//

It's gotten a little warmer today after the super cold (10 degrees...haha) of the past few days, so i decided to share a less winter-y outfit, since i didn't feel like wearing a huge coat over everything. Since we shot the photos on the street, it was super awkward when people kept walking and driving past, so i kinda have all of the same expressions in the photos (except the last one...haha)

anyhoo, i am addicted to this cardigan. It's so unique and comfy, though it does snag onto zippers and things, i can pair it with everything, including these pants from Muji. I've never bought any clothing from there before, but after seeing the cut and material of these pants, i decided i had to have them (they were on sale as well). After purchasing them, i found that the woman at the cashier forgot to take the safety tag off, and my dad had to wrestle with the pliers to get the thing off (it's surprisingly difficult) and though i have a tiny hole in the leg of the pants (which i will fix later), i'm in love with the fit and cut of them. I've also noticed I rarely wear pants on this blog, so i guess this is something different from the usual collar+skirt/shorts+tights combo! i really like the textures of the corduroy with the knits as well, and i'm going to try buying some cord the next time i go fabric shopping.

GUNS & HORSES//

It is so so so cold today. but anyways, i've realized i haven't shown much outerwear in my outfit posts this winter, so i decided to introduce this lovely cargo jacket, courtesy of SugarLips apparel. It's thin, for keeps me warm and looks awesome layered on top of scarves and sweaters. I'm pretty behind on the army parka/jacket trend, but i like it nonetheless. thanks sugarlips! also, what do you guys think of the nails? i'm thinking of doing a simple tutorial but i'm not sure if you guys like them or not since my dad thinks they're weird and i'm pretty sure i scared some of my younger relatives yesterday. (the nails were inspired by Vanessa of Animalist and Raych of That's Chic)

anyhoo, tonight i'm spending some time with family and friends to eat some CNY food and do some friendly gambling (even though i suck at that stuff).

As well as Frida, Karlie is one of my favorites. Isn't she amazing? Perfect inspiration for warmer weather. I also love the messy fishtail braids, and these photos make me miss New York so much.

I've been wanting slipper/loafers like these for ageeessss so i was so happy when my mom got mea pair from cotton on. they were even cheaper than the topshop ones online, so go get a pair now!

The Naked and Famous- Girls like You

Hi Everyone!
Another nice thing from American Apparel. The oversized fit makes it perfect for tucking into skirts, shorts and jeans. and you guys know i've been obsessed with this bag, these shoes, tights, skirt, etc.
I know that my outfits have been getting a bit repetitive lately...maybe its because i'm obsessed with all the same things. I'll try to change it up from now on; tell me what you guys think!

It's almost CNY holidays! can't wait for a nice break from school and work.

Mika- We are Golden

How amazing and adkljaldsk is this jumper? its so shiny, and hangs on my shoulders perfectly (it reminds me of the golden fleece......haha). and i've just been so obsessed with this necklace lately, as well as this beanie. This outfit is basically a combo of my latest favorite things.  I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while (carol) and i hope the Chinese New Year holiday comes as soon as possible so i can post more often! Oh and guess what? my next post will be a video! and after that, a Q&A! so get your questions ready for the next, next post!
