wearing: Peter Pilotto top and skirt, Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, Last picture: Motel Rocks leather jacket
I've never been one for peplums, until i came across the mind-numbing amazingness that was this Peter Pilotto top. It was heavy as hell and was hard to put on due to layers of infrastructure but it was worth it (and i mean, that skirt?!). For once i felt like i had a smiggle of curves on my figure and the hip-bump worthy padding was a big plus. Wearing (two!) pieces by one of my favorite designers has really etched Peter Pilotto's name into my 'fashion gods' list- and yes, 'etched' was a necessary verb. At the end i had to admit defeat and change back into my outfit (feeling a loss of hip volume and womanly-ness once i did so) but it was nice being Cinderella for a while. If Cinderella got to wear Peter Pilotto...hey, she was pretty kickass.
Thanks so much Priscilla and Electric Sekki for an amazing event!
