FARMER'S DAUGHTER//

wearing: flannel top from Bangkok, bow and skirt DIY, shoes from my mom.

"I'm going for a hot farmer's daughter kind of thing" -Jess (New Girl episode 1)

That's the first thing i thought of when i looked at these photos (minus the 'hot' and replacing it with 'nerdy' due to the whole match-y denim fabric thing. I made this skirt on a whim yesterday inspired by the American Apparel version (here) and Vanessa's version (here) in suede. It took me about 2 minutes to make the bow (tutorial here) and thus resulting in my 'farming nerd' look (hey, maybe that's what i can say from now on when people ask me to 'describe my style'!).

to add on to that, it would be amazing if you guys could all pledge for KONY 2012 here and watch the video if you haven't already (here)

hope you guys are having a great week! happy Wednesday!

xx

  14. these pictures are gorgeous!!
you definitely do NOT look like a nerdy farmer's daughter! :)
in fact, i really like how you paired the flannel shirt with the denimy skirt...two things that you wouldn't expect to go together but look amazing when paired correctly!

like everyone else, i would LOVE if you made a tutorial for the skirt :)
