The other day i was bored and decided to try making a simple kimono jacket with chiffon and this is what i came up with!
it's not super fancy or anything, in fact it's so simple you could do it in two steps:
1) get a big piece of square material. mine was around the length of my arm. You could also use a scarf you already own. If you're using your own fabric, hem the sides with a sewing machine.
2)fold the fabric in half so that it's like a rectangle, and take the edges that touch and either tie knots for a temporary kimono, or sew together at the back of the fabric.
And that's it! what's more, you can use it as a bag too (with lighter objects) by using the arm holes as handles and putting stuff in the middle.
Today i'm trying to enjoy the last days of summer and i'm heading to the beach with my friend and sister!
